V5 Heatsink

Cooler for extruders compatible with E3D V5. Proper removal of excess heat from the hotend is important for successful printing. In the case of insufficient cooling, it is possible that the print string starts to melt before the heatblock and thereby increases the resistance to the feed wheel, this can cause the string to slip and subsequent failed printing.

Heatsink is supplied both in the variant Allmetal/Short (suitable for direct drive extruders) or in the variant Bowden (suitable for introducing PTFE tubes). When choosing, please make sure to enter the correct type, suitable for your machine. If you don't know what to do, we'll be happy to advise you.

For proper cooling, it's a good idea to use a high-quality fan. We recommend buying an additional fan 4010 or 3010 and a suitable handle.

Thread for heatbreak M6 - suitable for use with this heatbreak.

• BOWDEN version, suitable supplied with threaded inlet for screwing in the connector for inserting the PTFE tube.
• Version ALLMETAL, suitable for DIRECT drive extruders where the V5 heatsink is directly connected to the extruder.
