The cooler and heatbreak can be removed and locked using a shaft and worm.
The heatbreak tube for guiding the filament to the nozzle is heated from highly resistant Titanium TC4 and thus improves the thermal insulation of the heating element and cooler.
The inner sides of the tube for guiding the filament are polished to a record roughness of Ra0.4.
The nozzles are made of hardened steel,so they are suitable for materials with admixture of carbon or fiberglass.
The nozzle is installed with a thread, and after tightening, the gap between the nozzle and the rest of the assembly disappears completely. This will prevent any filament jamming.
By having all integrated components, the Bambu Lab hotend minimizes the number of potential points of failure and simplifies maintenance and assembly. Overall, this innovative design can provide more efficient and reliable 3D printing.
