Super-resistant PPS CF filament with carbon fibers (15%)

PPS (Polyphenylene Sulfide) is a highly resistant polymer that is characterized by exceptional chemical resistance along with high thermal and mechanical properties. Widely known as one of the most chemically resistant thermoplastic materials available.

PPS is completely insoluble in any known solvent below 200°C.

PPS is used in the most demanding applications in the automotive, chemical processing, oil and gas, and electronics industries. It is inherently self-extinguishing, making it an ideal material for electrical/electronic applications.

Recommended print settings:

• Nozzle: 305 - 320°C
• Bed: 100 °C
• Minimum nozzle width: 0.5 mm (hardened or hardened)
• Print Blow: 0%
• Print speed: 35 mm/s
• Drying: 4 - 6 hours at 120°C

It is recommended to temper the print. First 1h at 80°C, then 3h at 130°C. Tempering serves to remove the internal stress of the material and subsequently strengthen the part. According to the manufacturer, tempering is not a condition.

Parameters (at 23°C / 50% RH):

• Temperature resistance: 220°C
• Tensile strength: 125 MPa
• Elongation at break: 1.2%
