ABS ESD antistatic filament

ABS ESD is a truly exceptional fiber used in electrical engineering and electronics due to its ability to isolate circuits and components from possible electrical discharges, i.e. ESD (electrostatic discharge), present in the air or near the object from the insulator. It is a highly functional and shielding material used in the printing of insulating and protective materials for electrical and electronic components, such as packaging and boxes for electronic components.

ABS ESD has a very high shielding value, unique on the market. The surface resistance is & gt; 1.00.10 6 Ohm/sq, a value considered to be an electrical shield that prevents electrostatic charge from accumulating on the object's surface and prevents damage and electrical discharges.

ABS ESD is extremely resistant to impacts and high temperatures and does not deform. It is easy to print and does not cause problems with retraction during printing and does not clog the nozzles, which allows easy and continuous printing.

It is compatible with most printers on the market that use FFF and FDM technology. ABS ESD has a matte surface.

Recommended print settings:

  • Nozzle: 240 - 260°C
  • Bed: 90 °C
  • Minimum nozzle width: 0.2 mm
  • Print blowout: 0 - 20%
  • Print speed: 30 - 60 mm/s
  • Drying: 2h at 70°C

Parameters (at 23°C / 50% RH):

  • Temperature resistance: 88°C (Melting point: 128°C)
  • Tensile strength: 30 MPa
  • Elongation at break: 22%
  • Surface resistivity: >1.00.10 6 Ohm/sq
