Additional information from the manufacturer:
- In general, filaments made with CA PET (pet carbon) can be processed on a conventional 3D printer using FDM / FFF technology.
- CA PET is a domestic carbon fiber reinforced for 3D printing and for best results we recommend pre-drying the fibers at 120° for 4-6 hours.
- Do not leave the filament stopped inside the nozzle for more than 20 minutes. If it drops below 210°, you better stop the thermoregulation.
- The recommended print set is only a recommendation for general use. Each printer needs a specific kit, nozzle temperature, bed temperature, etc.
- 0.5 mm is the minimum diameter of the carbon fiber reinforced nozzle.
- Carbon fibers are abrasive, we recommend using a nozzle on a hardened or tempered metal such as Widia or an internal wear resistant surface such as ceramic or others.
Recommended print settings:
- Nozzle: 230-250°C
- Substrate: 30-60 °C
- Minimum nozzle width: 0.5 mm
- Print Blow: 0%
- Print speed: 40 mm/s
