PLA filament REFILL red 0,75 kg for Bambu Lab, Czech manufacturer Abaflex. More

PLA Without Spool from Czech Manufacturer Abaflex

Attention, this is a REFILL - does not include a spool!

The filament itself can be fitted onto "openable" REFILL spools, which you can download in the "FILES" section

The filament can also be fitted onto "openable" original BAMBULAB spools when using a reducer, which you can download in the "FILES" section

All STL files for printing the spool can be found HERE

PLA – is a material of higher strength, is well printable, the only disadvantage is lower temperature resistance - it cannot withstand immersion in hot water, loses strength above 60°C and softens around 80°C.

It falls among hard and brittle materials.

Recommended printing temperature for PLA is 210 – 225°C. Higher temperature achieves a higher gloss of the product.

With PLA, you can print both small and detailed models as well as large ones. This material is recommended for beginners.

FEATURES OF ABAFLEX FILAMENT:

  • Czech product made on a Czech production line
  • Precise diameter with maximum stability
  • Excellent roundness
  • Guaranteed color fastness
  • When unwinding ABAFLEX filament, the individual turns will never cross and thus unwinding will not get stuck
  • We use raw materials exclusively from Western Europe and North America from suppliers with guaranteed quality and stability of each production batch
  • From PLA you can print both small and detailed models, as well as large prints

ADDITIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS:

If you are not printing, keep the filament dry and away from direct sunlight (e.g., in a box, in a resealable bag with a "dried" moisture absorber)

When handling the spool, secure the free end of the filament so that it does not unravel spontaneously.

When 3D printing with all filaments from all manufacturers, we always recommend using a "filament cleaner = cleaning filter", this filter wipes dust and other possible impurities from the surface of the filament. Dust particles and other mechanical impurities may stick to the surface of the unpacked filament due to electrostatic charge, thereby risking clogging of the nozzle.

Tips for PLA Filament

  1. How to surface finish PLA?
  2. How to glue PLA?
  3. How to store and dry filament?

ADVANTAGES:

  • Easy print settings
  • Biodegradable material
  • Hardness and toughness
  • Minimal shrinkage during printing
  • Suitable for printing larger models
  • Soluble in sodium hydroxide

DISADVANTAGES:

  • Fragility
  • Low thermal resistance (softens at 50°C)
  • Not suitable for outdoor use
  • More difficult to sand

RECOMMENDED PRINT SETTINGS:

  • Recommended bed temperature: 40-60°C
  • Recommended nozzle temperature for standard printing: 210 ± 15°C
  • Recommended print profiles: Prusament PLA, Generic PLA
  • We recommend applying 3D Lac on the print bed
  • Use dried filament for printing
  • Higher temperature achieves higher gloss and the possibility of faster printing. For printing intricate and complex products, it is advisable to reduce the temperature and speed

PARAMETERS OF THE REFILL ITSELF:

  • Weight of the empty cartridge: 40 - 45 g
  • Outer diameter: 165 mm
  • Width: 60 mm
  • Inner diameter of the cartridge: 100 mm

FILAMENT TECHNICAL DETAILS:

  • Max. filament diameter deviation: +-0.019 mm
  • Filament roundness: min 94%
  • Net filament weight: 1000 - 1050 g
