It stands out with a lot of excellent features, is highly temperature resistant (it can withstand more than 200°C) and stable, contains self-extinguishing elements and has UL94 certifications and 5VA. It is extremely strong, tough and resistant to environmental influences.
PEIJet 1010 is a material for advanced printers and rather industrial printers with specific print settings. It also requires compliance with handling and storage procedures.
It is extremely susceptible to moisture and absorbs part of the water from the air after just 10 minutes, which can subsequently affect the strength of the print. Before each use, it is therefore necessary to dry the material, preferably in 120°C (the PEIJet 1010 coil is adapted for this). If the material is properly dried, the resulting object can be as strong as, for example, an aluminum part.
It is also necessary to use a printer with a closed chamber heated to at least 70° C.
After the print is finished, the material shrinks as the chamber gradually cools and due to its strength it is able to tear the mat, so think about moving the print away as quickly as possible.
