Suitable for:

The power supply from the Arduino is only for testing purposes and short-term switching of the stepper
engine. If the motor was powered from the Arduino for a longer period of time (especially in
load), the linear controller on the Arduino could be damaged (overheated), which would
resulted in fatal damage.
We therefore recommend using an external source for powering the motor (or driver).
