Cura

Cura is ULTIMAKER's software designed for everyone from complete newbies to the world of 3D printing to professional users, offering over 200 different settings and preset profiles for many 3D printers.

PrusaSlicer

Now a separate program originally developed as Slic3r Prusa edition is completely open-source. It is very easy to use and the settings can be adapted to the individual needs of the user. It enjoys a large community of users and has brought support for SLA printers in recent versions. Another big plus is the possibility to repair models via netfabb directly in the program.

Simplify3D

Simplify3D is one of the fastest slicers, CURA slices minutes, Simplify can do it in seconds. It also offers advanced creation of supports and tools for printers with multiple extruders, for those who still don't have enough, they will certainly find everything they need in the wide range of add-ins.

KISSlicer

KISSlicer stands for "Keep It Simple Slicer", but don't let that fool you, this is sophisticated software. The basic version is sufficient for beginners, but more advanced users will prefer other slicers. Although many printers are officially supported, if your printer is not on this sheet, you must manually adjust the program.

IceSL

IceSL is not directly a slicer, it also handles modeling through the OpenSCAD platform and direct mesh editing in Lua code. This environment can be difficult for beginners, but all coders will appreciate the advanced capabilities of this program.

Netfabb

Netfabb is primarily software for optimizing and correcting mesh files before printing. This is a professional tool from AUTODESK. However, it also contains a very sophisticated slicer with the possibility of simulations for DLMS, SLS, etc. and with a lot of predefined profiles.

ChiTuBox

A clear choice for all users of SLA or DLP printers. It offers an intuitive environment, a powerful engine for creating supports and can process multiple files simultaneously. Sometimes you run into some problems, but you can find solutions to almost all of them on the community forums.
